KUDA CLAIMS
Kuda understands just how stressful it can be to have to deal with the loss or damage of your assets and, much worse, of your animals. We aim to make the claim process as smooth as possible during this difficult time. Here’s a step by step guide to getting your claim quickly processed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW WHEN CLAIMING FOR:
MEDICAL CARE
In the event of Medical Care, we can only cover the listed types of medical care.
Reporting your claim
- Notification that the horse requires treatment
- Vet report specifically diagnosing the horse with a condition specified under the Medical Care list of ailments
- Invoices related to the hospital admission
- Completed and signed claim form
LIFE COVER (MORTALITY)
The following is required for any mortality claims, i.e. in the unfortunate event of a death or necessary euthanasia of your animal.
- Notification within 24 hours of event.
- Post Mortem Report.
- Proof of vaccinations by a registered Vet in the case of death by AHS or Equine Flu.
- Completed and signed claim form
LIFE SAVING SURGERY & CRITICAL CARE
In the event of an emergency, we know you need to move quickly to get your horse the help they need. Once your horse is stable, you’ll need to prepare to claim under the Life Saving Surgery & Critical Care category.
We’ll need to determine that the event was an emergency which needed to be treated in hospital.
You will need to following:
- Notification that the horse requires treatment
- Vet report specifically diagnosing the horse with a condition specified under the Life Saving Surgery & Critical Care list of ailments
- Invoices related to the hospital admission
- Completed and signed claim form
