Kuda began life in 2009 as a horse insurance specialist, with ambitions of building a diversified insurance and related financial services business. Today our offering includes a range of niche insurance products, a short-term insurance broker (advice) division, an accounting and administration service as well as a foreign exchange intermediary and advisory service.
KUDA NICHE
Our niche insurance product offering includes a comprehensive range of products designed for Bloodstock (horses in the racehorse industry), Sport Horses (from Showjumpers to Riding Horses and everything in between), Game (Rare Breeding Species) and Livestock (aimed at the more valuable livestock breeding sector). We own a cell captive with Guardrisk, and this enables us to develop, price and manage our own products rather than simply fulfilling the role of the “middle man”. This, together with our unmatched domain knowledge sets us apart in our ability to tailor solutions for our clients.
KUDA BROKERS
Our insurance broker division offers advice and intermediary services to cater for both individuals’ and businesses’ insurance needs. The business started from the premise that if our clients wanted the best insurance for their horses, they certainly had cars, houses, and probably businesses with insurance needs. While we have access to insurance products designed specifically for our customers, we also have access to a comprehensive range of insurance companies’ products and back this up with expert advice and the unmatched service levels we have become known for.
KUDA ACCOUNTING & ADMINISTRATION
Our dedicated accounting team is here to support you with a comprehensive range of accounting and compliance services. We prioritize the integration of technology to ensure a seamless experience for our clients. Our offerings encompass everything from cashbook accounting to management accounts, as well as VAT and income tax services. Leveraging Kuda’s extensive expertise, particularly in the bloodstock industry, we have developed specialised systems for bloodstock administration and taxation. KUDA FOREIGN EXCHANGE
Our foreign exchange division offers both individual and corporate FX solutions. In addition to our intermediary services, we have a Risk Management product offering that essentially assists you in managing risk around the volatility of the Rand.
