In the event that you need to make a claim please use the guide’s below to assist you with the process.

MOTOR CLAIM

  1. At the scene of an accident, call 0800 111 252 to call for Kuda Assist roadside assistance and towing.
  2. DO NOT admit fault, liability, responsibility or make any offers or payments.
  3. Download a claim form here.
  4. We will need the following from you:
  5. We will inform you if your vehicle is to be written off. Should this be the case, we’ll need the following from you:
  • Copy of ID book and driver’s licence.
  • Quotation for repair
  • Copy of vehicle registration certificate
  • Police (SAPS) case number and name of police station where incident was reported
  • If applicable, other vehicle’s details (registration, make, model), driver’s contact details (name, phone numbers, ID number) and insurer’s information.
  • If applicable, description of other property damaged as well as owner’s information.
  • If anyone other than you or your family were hurt, we’ll also need their information (name, contact numbers, relationship to accident,
  • hospital where treated)
  • If possible, the contact info of independent witnesses.
  • A sketch of the accident scene.

In the case of theft, we’ll need the following documents from you:

  • Vehicle keys, manual and service book
  • Original vehicle registration certificate
  • If financed, letter from bank stating settlement figure
  • Two signed change-of-ownership forms
  • Important: if you email or fax the documents to us, we’ll still need the originals in order to finalise the claim.

MOTOR THEFT CLAIM

  1. Copy of ID document and driver’s licence
  2. Copy of vehicle registration certificate and both sets of keys
  3. Police case number and station where reported
  4. If financed, letter from bank stating settlement figure
  5. Proof of vehicle security e.g. alarm, immobiliser, tracking device

PROPERTY LOSS OR DAMAGE CLAIM

Please download your claim form.

We’ll need the following documents from you when submitting your claim:

  1. Quotations to replace items
  2. Police case number, if applicable, and station where reported
  3. Proof that you own the stolen items
  4. Blacklisting documents in the case of stolen mobile phones
  5. For contact lenses or spectacles, a letter from your medical aid stating there is no cover provided by them
  6. In case of lightning strike or electricity surge, we’ll need confirmation of installation of lightning protection/UPS devices
  7. Activation and response report from security company, if applicable
  8. Important: if you email or fax the documents to us, we’ll still need the originals in order to finalise the claim.
